Maintaining participant momentum along nursing career pathways has proven challenging for many programs. As part of a new two-part Career Pathways small group series, AIR hosted a session focused on strategies to support advancement from nursing assistant to licensed practical nurse/licensed vocational nurse (LPN/LVN).

On May 26, 2026, Nursing Expansion grantees met for a peer focused discussion on motivating participants, strengthening retention, and deploying supportive services to help participants continue progressing along this pathway within the grant period. This session included a brief introductory presentation from AIR and dedicated time for questions and peer exchange.
